Goals for the Week: Chillin'

HI All! If you missed my last post (the one written after a ~four month hiatus) here's the latest and greatest happening in my life- The arrival of our lil' guy~ James Koster.

He's 2.5 weeks now...and MAN it's nice to have those first two weeks of life under our belt. Talk about a whirlwind doozy of emotions and adjustments. All good stuff...but definitely adjustments physically and emotionally all over the place.

Which brings me to write again...specifically in blog format. This blog was my touch tone to reality back in the day when my twins were ~2 years of age. It provided me a format to create what was important to me in living my life fully.

Needless to say much has changed over the past five years; physically, emotionally, how I think about and create goals etc. I'd say the biggest shift has been moving towards embracing the process of things vs the outcome or final product.

But now with a newborn back in the picture and only 2 weeks outta the gate- I'm attached to getting those product tasks done! So...let's get some Goals for the Week- product and process based ones going!

Mom: Hair cut for my other son N, black dress shoes for my daughter AB for an upcoming show.

Community: Finish bulletin board for kids' school jog a thon

Athlete: 3 days of Strength training- 6 days of walking (3x ~15 min, 3x ~35 min). I would love to start running, but have been told to wait 4 weeks...

Health: WATER

Personal Growth: Continue to follow lil' James lead- and CHILL with him- be mindful of this time together~ Morning pages when I can and meditate ~5 min a few days this week.

ME!: Pedicure or eye brow wax.

I write these on a book mark I keep in my organizer and attempt to read it each morning during my morning pages time- before I begin my day.

So my friends, this is what I have lined up for me this week. Now how about YOU? What's on your plate for the week. Would love to know..OH! and if you're a runner mama, when you did you start running again after a vback birth?? Would love to know
