Super Sweet BROOKS Running Shoes & Shorts Giveaway!

Did you just read the above title correctly? Yes friends, you did. The good folks working with BROOKS reached out to see if I'd host a giveaway. uh...yeah! I've only done giveaways with products I've used, so they said BOTH myself and a bloggy winner could choose any shoe and short.  SCORE for us both! 

I've always wanted to try a pair of Brooks! I equate the brand with runners who know what they're doing and who are serious about their sport. I mean, c'mon they're the footwear sponsor for Chrissie Wellington! And I always, without fail, see a Brooks shoe chosen as 'Best in Group' or 'Editor's Choice' in every Runner's World Magazine Shoe Review. So now our time has come to try em' ourselves!


Now, for me...It was so hard to choose! I used their Shoe Advisor tab on their website to guide me, and I'm going to try the shoe above: The Brooks Glycerin 8. I want to try out their new SAC technology: Spontaneous Adaptive Cushioning. It sounds so high tech-y and cool, AND it was given Editor's Choice in Runner's Mag for Spring 2010 Shoe Review. They have a pretty funny yet informative video about the technology below you should check out:

And for shorts, I'm gonna try their HVAC Synergy Short. These look like the perrrrfect short for my upcoming Half Marathon at the end of October. I wanna feel sleek and fast, and I think these shorts will do the trick.
