Happy Eleven Ironman Dude!

He wasn't Ironman Dude when we started our adventure together. In fact, neither of us did anything tri or running related: he was into race cars, and I liked tennis. funny eh? That's how life works.


And we chose 9/11/99 as our wedding date, before it became 9/11 and all that comes with that- not so funny, but again that's how life works.


And now eleven years later, through ebbs, flows, changes, ups and downs, here we are stronger than ever, and amazed that we've experienced 11 together:

Having triathlons and running find their way into our life has no doubt helped define our marriage to what it is today. Without sounding too hokey or serious, it has become part of our blueprint to help guide our priorities and adventures in life.

But...we're not all tri/running super serious over here. Oh no, no no! We like to have a good time too. Here's us at a wedding 1 week after Vineman this year:

  Had to show the photo b/c I think we both look hawt (i mean it's a blog, so I get to show off good pics right?). AND, we're going to a wedding reception tonite, on our anniversary, and i'm gonna wear that exact same dress and dance my booty off!
