Photos, Vino, Dolls & Fitness

The Holidays have arrived and so have a few of my favorite things! It seems everyone has a Favorite Gift List, so I figured what the heck, it's fun!  I'll make one too.
Some are new, some old, and all are extra special to give (and get) this year. They're all designed or made locally by creative folks in Northern California, who are living the kind of life that's contagious and fun to be around.

1. This super creative photographer took our family portrait that's on this here blog. Her true passion lies in capturing the color and mood of still objects (well, that's my layman's take at least). She makes a calendar of photography each year, and it's simply beautiful. I gifted 2 copies last year, and have been kindly requested to get them each the same. Done:)

2. All Holiday Cheer starts with a great bottle of wine, and what better wine than from my own hubby:) But really...he makes dang good wine! If you're looking for a nice bottle or case to share with friends, Highway 12 Winery has the bottle for you.  And because I got connections, that's right;), you can get 35% discount on any purchase! Just enter GFTW (GoalsForTheWeek) in the promo code at check out. woo-hoo!

3. Amazingly creative and cute stuffed dolls by Heather Bleasdell. Not only are these dolls freakin' adorable, they're made by a woman who is probably a fairy in real life, who sprinkles magic 'Feel Good' dust over each of her works. If you're looking for a truly special doll, this is your gem.

5. I had to mention The Gift of Fitness, as I'm a true believer in it's results. Invest the time and energy and hire a trainer either for yourself or friend, to help create your own 'Stimulus Package'. If you're wanting to loose weight, gain definition, improve cardio, or run your first 5k or triathlon, find a trainer in your area to help support you reach your goals. You deserve it and will reap greater rewards than imagined.

And that's my list. It was fun to think about and create, and I just may do another!. I'd love to hear any other gift ideas, or let me know any questions on my recommendations. Happy Gift Giving and Getting!

Goals for the week, whether big or small has greatly inspired me to be all that I can be, may sound corny to some. I have set goals for the week, month and year recently.I continue to set weekly goals in all aspects of my life. Mother, Exercise, Home, Etc. I have been known to be not the "planning type" but feel becoming a goal setter has helped me in so many ways. It has put balance back in my life. Thank you Anne Marie, for inspiring me and helping me continue on with this journey!
