Few Friday Footnotes: Family Fun!

I just had to share I'm a new member of a Cool Club: The Kid's Sport Mug Shot Magnet Series Throughout the Years Club. We got their first official sport pics today, and they're just too spankin' cute. Had to show em' off on the fridge. And I can't wait to add to the collection year after year (after year after year after year after year)!

This was my mode of transportation yesterday. The kids rode their bikes to pre-school, I rode to the pool, around town, picked the kids, rode to the park then home. I felt pretty proud that I didn't use the car once...well not til' 5:30 when the kids had soccer...but whatever!

Look what came in the mail this week. It's LAVA- a new tri magazine supposedly geared towards the HIM and Ironman crowd. I know this b/c last month, I was NOT sent the mag, but the DH was as he's done a few IM's. Well...now having my FIRST Half IM under my belt, I too am now on the mailing list (yah, I feel cool) Now we BOTH get a copy for our late night bed reading;-)

That's what's going on for me. How about you? And who else out there has received LAVA mag? Also...good luck to all you racers out there this weekend, and a big Good Luck to EMZ with her first ULTRA. dang.;)
